Vincent Wine Company is a small winery located in beautiful Eola Hills specializing in single vineyard, handmade wines made from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Gamay and Pinot Gris with old-world simplicity in Oregon's WIllamette Valley. The winery was founded in 2009 by winemaker Vincent Fritzsche after years of apprenticing in wineries throughout Oregon and California. Vincent focuses on low-input winemaking with grapes sourced from sustainably-farmed vineyards.
Vincent's Ribbon Ridge Pinot Noir pours a brilliant ruby red in the glass displaying heightened aromas of cranberry, raspberry and strawberry mingled with notes of crushed gravel and umami. On the palate, those red berry flavors are enveloped with a vibrant acidity from front to back. Secondary flavors of earth, rosemary and sandalwood appear in the rich mid-palate. Tannins are mild and well-integrated and help lead to a delightfully tart finish. Pair with chicken marsala or black truffle risotto.
