Julien Mingot is the third generation of his family to lead this 22-hectare estate in Bordeaux just outside the village of Savignac de l’Isle on Bordeaux's right bank. His vineyards are planted to primarily Merlot with smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon on clay-like chalk soils and are farmed without the use chemicals.
The Vignoble Mingot Le Petit Comptoir rosé is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, co-fermented in stainless steel. Light pink in color with aromas of wet stone, peach and raspberry. The palate is light and refreshing with a spicy mineral spine to frame the fruit flavors. Enjoy as an aperitif or with salmon tartare.
