Quinta de Santa Eufemia is a Portuguese Port house whose history begins in 1864 when Bernardo Rodrigues de Carvalho acquired vineyards in the Duoro and began producing and selling Port wines. His skills and passion have been passed down from generation to generation ever since. Today, Quinta de Santa Eufemia is in it fourth generation of family leadership.
Quinta de Santa Eufemia's Fine White Port is a blend of Malvasia Fina, Moscatel Galego Branco, Rabigato and Gouveio from 15+ year old vines. The grapes are fermented in traditional lagares (treading tanks) and fermented for 5 days before fortification. The wine is matured for nine months in stainless steel as part of a natural decanting process, then age in 3,000 liter wooden casks for 3 years. It displays a brilliant golden color and emits aromas and flavors of ripe stone and tropical fruits with a subtle note of honeysuckle and white flowers. Enjoy with fresh cheeses, smoked fish or fresh fruit desserts.
