Domaine de la Bregeonnette is located near the town of Vallet in heart of Muscadet in the Loire Valley. In the 1960's Joseph Orieux began experimenting with natural pest control, and his son Stéphane (who now runs the domaine) took his lead in pioneering organic winemaking. Stéphane is now one of the denizens of organic farming in Muscadet. His wines are known for the varietal precision and elegance.
Domaine de la Bregeonnette produces this lovely 100% Folle Blanche (also known as Gros Plant or Ugni Blanc). The wine is light in body and color with a razor sharp acidity. Simple and structured with salty mineral flavors and touch of citrus. Pair this with raw oysters or goat cheese. Also relax and enjoy a glass on a warm afternoon.
