Domaine de Nugues is run by the father and son team of Gérard and Gilles Gelin. Their 15 hectares of vineyards are located in the northern part of Beaujolais, surrounded by the Crus of Morgon and Fleurie, with vines that average forty years of age. All fruit is hand-harvested and whole-cluster vinified.
Made by G is a sparkling red wine made from 100% Gamay in the methode ancestral, where the first part of fermentation occurs in tank and the second part in bottle (also known as a Pétillant Naturel). The wine has a dark ruby color with aromas of sweet berry fruits. On the palate the wines has a point of sweetness that is beautifully balanced by a bright acidity. Enjoy as an aperitif or pair with fried chicken or turkey sandwiches.
