Château Revelette is located in the heart of Provence, in the commune of Jouques, on the northern slope of Mont-Victoire. The estate was founded by Peter Fischer, a native of Germany, who originally wanted to be a Cowboy in the USA, but instead settled for a life in the unspoiled French wilderness, crafting some of the best wines of Côteaux d'Aix en Provence. Today the vineyard is planted to nine different varietals that cover 24 hectares, all of which are certified organic.
Peter's Rosé is a blend of 66% Grenache, 15% Cinsault, 10% Carignan, and 9% Ugni Blanc. All of the varieties are vinified separately and left in contact with the skin for 15 hours before being bled off and fermented using native yeasts. The wine is classic Provence Rosé with flavors of strawberry, apricot and ginger. Enjoy with a mixed grill of spring and summer vegetables.
