Jacques Diebolt has been making Champagne at Diebolt-Vallois since 1959. The winery and vineyards are based in the village of Cramant, although he also has vineyards in some of the top spots in the villages of Chouilly, Cuis and Epernay. This is one of the top artisanal, family run estates in all of the Côtes des Blanc region of Champagne.
Diebolt-Vallois' Blanc des Blancs is 100% Chardonnay from grapes grown mostly in Cuis and Epernay and a small amount from Chouilly and Cramant. This Champagne is elegant in its silky texture and complexity. Flavors of ripe citrus, apple and tangerine waft from the glass and on the palate compliment the tense structure and nuances of the wine. Pair this wine with a celebratory occasion or try it with sushi or cheese.
