Founded in 1815, Bodegas Manuel Aragon is one of the most important, historic producers of fine Sherry located in the historic heart of Chiclana de la Fontera. Handmade wines are produced from naturally farmed, estate-owned vineyards located just 800 meters from the Atlantic Ocean. For generations, this traditional, family-owned estate has continued to utilize artisanal production methods like hand-harvesting, native yeast fermentation, and hand-racking to produce timeless and unforgettable Sherries.
100% Palomino Fino grown on the chalky barajuela albariza soils around Chiclana in the Pago Marquesado. Aged for between 17 to 20 years in barrel. Deep mahogany color with complex aromas and flavors of toasted walnuts, tobacco, truffles and leather. Powerful, full-bodied yet soft palate with amazing complexity, concentration and length. Enjoy with aged cheeses like Comté; pigeon or duck; smoked pork or venison; beef or lamb; and finally, morcilla, Spanish blood sausage.
