Founded in 1815, Bodegas Manuel Aragon is one of the most important, historic producers of fine Sherry located in the historic heart of Chiclana de la Fontera. Handmade wines are produced from naturally farmed, estate-owned vineyards located just 800 meters from the Atlantic Ocean. For generations, this traditional, family-owned estate has continued to utilize artisanal production methods like hand-harvesting, native yeast fermentation, and hand-racking to produce timeless and unforgettable Sherries.
100% Palomino Fino grown on the chalky barajuela albariza soils around Chiclana in the Pago Marquesado. Aged for a total of 17 years: 5 years biological aging under flor, 12 years oxidative aging in barrel. Deep amber color with complex aromas and flavors of roasted nuts, salt and tobacco that impart an umami richness and incredible depth. Enjoy with a wide range of foods including Manchego cheese, hearty soups, tuna, roast vegetables, mushrooms and white meats.
