Nestled at the foot of Monte Erice in western Sicily, Baglio Ingardia is a family-run organic estate where history, terroir, and craftsmanship converge. Surrounded by calcareous and clay-rich soils caressed by sea breezes from the nearby Trapani coast, the estate was founded by Salvatore Ingardia. Today, his daughter Mariella and grandsons Nicola and Salvatore cultivate indigenous Sicilian varieties Grillo, Zibibbo, Perricone, and Nero d’Avola, as well as Grecanico, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, producing wines that balance Mediterranean ripeness with a distinct saline freshness. The historic 18th-century “baglio” serves as both the heart of production and a symbol of continuity, embodying generations of sustainable viticulture. Each wine reflects the authenticity of its landscape—sun-drenched, windswept, and deeply rooted in Sicilian tradition.
