Toucas Vinho Verde 2024

Lua Cheia em Vinhas Velhas is the winemaking project of Francisco Baptista. Francisco's objective is to craft wines that showcase the essence of each region using lessons learned from Old World winemaking and allowing the terroir to shine through in those wines. Francisco practices organic farming methods on his spectacular granitic soils and their wines are made with minimal intervention.

The Toucas Vinho Verde displays a pale yellow color with a green tinge. Mouthwatering aromas of citrus and tropical fruits burst from the glass, tantalizing the senses. Flavors of Meyer lemon, tangerine and a light papaya note wash over the palate accented by a beautiful natural effervescence. Graceful acidity helps guide this wine to a delectably fruity finish. This is a wonderful wine to enjoy on its own, though works well with light appetizers or salads.
