Domaine Christian Bellang et Fils Savigny-lès-Beaune Blanc 2022

The Bellang family's family tree in Meursault goes boak to 1789, and since then, the family has been growing grapes and producing wine. In 1974, Christian Bellang took over his parents' estate, with vines mainly in Meursault, and some of his father-in-law's vines in Savigny lès Beaune. His son, Christophe, joined him in 1995. Together they expanded the estate with plots in Meursault, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Chorey lès Beaune and Beaune. Today, Christophe manages the estate, now totaling nine hectares. 

The Bellang Savigny-lès-Beaune Blanc is made from 100% Chardonnay vinified in oak barrels and aged in barrel (20% of which is new wood) for ten months. Light gold color, this blanc offers aromas of toasted lemon meringue, butterscotch and Golden Delicious apples. The palate is round and fruity with a vibrant mineral streak that flows into a rich, yet refreshing, finish. Enjoy with chicken in a flavorful sauce.
