E's Vino Bonarda 2024

E's Vino is the personal project of Eugenia Luka. Eugenia grew up among the vines, working with her father, Roberto Luka, founder of Finca Sophenia, the esteemed estate winery located in Gualtallary, Mendoza, Argentina. Eugenia decided to embark on her own path after living a life alongside her father's great passion. Today, she crafts terroir-driven wines — Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Torrontés, Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon — that uniquely represent their origins of Gualtallary, Tupungato and the Uco Valley. Each step of Eugenia’s winemaking process — from grape to glass — is rooted in the mindfulness that every present action impacts the environment and future generations. It is through her conscientious approach to viticulture and oenology that Eugenia believes she will leave her legacy.

The E's Vino Bonarda displays a deep purplish red in the glass, offering intense aromatics of dark red and black fruits (berry and stone) tinged with spice and a light herbal component. The palate is focused and loaded with strawberry, raspberry and black plum flavors with a well-incorporated acidity, fine earthy minerality and suave tannins. This Bonarda finishes with length and depth. Pair with homemade pizza, BBQ pulled pork sandwiches or a hearty meat stew.
