Grassi Estate Sparkling Ribolla Gialla 2021

Grassi Estate is a family-owned and operated winery situated in the eastern benchlands of Napa Valley, just south of the Stags Leap District AVA. The fourteen-acre estate was founded by husband and wife Mark and Jami Grassi in 2005. Today, Grassi is run by the couple’s daughter Cassandra along with her husband, Miguel Luna, who manages the vineyards and winemaker Maayan Koschitzky. Grassi crafts award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, as well as still and sparkling offerings of Ribolla Gialla, emphasizing purity of fruit, elegance and character.

Grassi's sparkling version of their Ribolla Gialla soars from the glass with aromas of citrus-kissed orchard fruits accented with hints of toasted almond and fresh-baked brioche. The palate possesses a fine mousse with flavors of clementine and honeyed pear, seamlessly intertwining with a vibrant acidity and an ultra-fine mineral core. The finish is crisp and invigorating. Perfect to enjoy on its own or as a celebratory pour. For pairings, enjoy with zucchini fries with lemon aioli or chicken katsu.
