Casa Santa Eulália is located in Atei, in the Mondim de Basto municipality of the Vinho Verde wine region. The 17th century estate has been in the Pereira e Cunha Marques Leandro family for several generations since 1822, during which they have been a family rooted in agriculture and, more specifically, winemaking. The property is comprised of 45 hectares of vineyards separated into seventeen plots, each of which receives individualized attention depending on the age of vines, soil makeup/nutrition and the varietal planted. Casa Santa Eulália crafts wines which allow their terroir to acquire a unique and exclusive character with Alvarinho, Arinto, Avesso, Azal, Loureiro, Sauvignon Blanc and Trajadura for the whites and Espadeiro and Vinhão for the rosé and reds.
Casa Santa Eulália's Alvarinho/Trajadura blend displays a bright lemon color in the glass. The nose offers eye-fluttering aromas of light citrus and tropical fruits with a kiss of wet stone. On the palate, there are waves of flavors, with grapefruit, Galia melon and pineapple alternating with a tingling mineral streak. Braced by a fresh, vibrant acidity, these flavors coalesce toward a finish which showcases the wine’s length and elegance. Excellent as aperitif, though you can also enjoy this Vinho Verde with most seafood as well as tempura-batted hors d’oeuvres.

From a 1,300-foot high vineyard, this wine blends together two of Vinho Verde's top varieties. It is ripe and tangy with a touch of minerality from the granite soil and a cool thrust. Drink from 2025.
