Azienda Agricola Bellaria was established in 1963 by Assunto Pieri and Bruna Tempori. At the time, the property acted as a poly-farm, helping the new family live off the land through farming, olive oil production, and of course being in the heart of Montalcino, winemaking. The couple farmed their three-vineyard with pride and in 1967, Assunto became one of the founders of the Brunello Wine Consortium. After nearly fifty years of dedicated work on the property, Assunto passed the reins over to his grandson Gianni Bernazzi in 2010. Today, Gianni oversees the estate, following all the traditions and advice his grandfather taught him, and along the way, crafting exceptional Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino and Toscana Rosso, as well as a delicious Vin Santo.
