Bodegas Lozano was established in 1853 when the Lozano family planted their first vines in the city of Villarrobledo, known for having the world's largest percentage of area covered by vineyards. For four generations, the Lozanos have committed themselves to the vine, overseeing vineyards planted to fourteen different varietals. In 2018, they acquired 36.5 hectares of century-old vineyards in Rioja Alavesa in the shadow of the Sierra de Cantabria mountain range. These ancient plots are planted to Tempranillo and Viura.
Lozano’s Montes de Leza Edición Limitada Rioja displays a deep ruby red color, offering intense aromas of red and black fruits accented with notes of wet stone and eucalyptus. The palate is full-bodied and rich yet exhibits a surprising freshness. The ripe blackberry, red currant and cherry flavors are complemented by a lovely acidity and approachable tannins, leading to a finish that is full-flavored and enduring. Enjoy with anything off the grill… marinated chicken thighs, pork loin or skirt steak will pair extremely well.

Bright cherry-red to the eye, this wine offers a bouquet of cranberry, black olive paste and rose petal. Bright on entry, it has flavors of raspberry, pomegranate, cocoa butter, eucalyptus and Turkish delight. A touch of baking spice and plush tannins carry into the enduring finish.

Spiced cherries, plums, tobacco and a meaty undertone with some black earth. A fresh and juicy Rioja with seductive berries and plums on the palate, rounded by precise, dusty tannins. Excellent length and fruit. 100% tempranillo. Delicious now, but can hold.
