Fresh Wine Company was founded in 2020 by winemaker Jack Sporer who sources grapes from Sonoma Valley, working with growers to transition towards regenerative agriculture. Jack's wines are made at his cooperative custom crush facility: Magnolia Wine Services. Fresh Wine Co works closely with likeminded farmers to transition vineyards in the Sonoma Valley to organic and regenerative practices. The regenerative farming movement prioritizes soil and environmental health and commits to paying fair wages. In return, the growers work to nourish both soil and vine, yielding grapes that ferment easily into fresh tasting wines. Wines are fermented with native yeasts and no other fermentation aids. The goal is to make wines that have a positive impact on the watershed, environment, and community.

Jack's Primitivo is his flagship wine, sourced from the Benguerel Family Vineyard which is farmed by Ross Cannard. This 100% Primitivo pours a light ruby red emitting aromas of red and black berry fruits with a touch of purple flowers and dried herbs. The palate is full of red and dark fruit flavors (raspberry, blackberry and currant), yet drinks with a remarkable elegance, buoyed by friendly tannins and a refreshing acidity. Perfect pairing for eggplant rollatini, but can also be enjoyed with barbecue or grilled meats.
