Fattorie Isola is the project created in 2018 by agronomist Luigi Cuccaru and oenologist Renzo Panetto to produce organic wines crafted with the grapes of Sardinia. The partners' goal is to promote Sardinia's long history of grape cultivation while paying full respect to the land, the farmer and the consumer with the shared vision of sustainability, now and in the future. The estate grows Cannonau, Vermentino and Semidano on 8.5 organically-farmed hectares. All harvesting and sorting is done manually and minimal sulfur is utilized.

An ideal summer sipper! Brilliant straw yellow in the glass with light green highlights, this opens with an arresting bouquet of citrus-kissed white orchard fruits mixed with notes of crushed stone and seaspray. The palate is captivating, offering flavors of Bartlett pear, white peach and grapefruit which interplay wonderfully with its zesty saline-laced minerality and a crisp, bright finish. A no-brainer pairing for seafood (sushi, shellfish or pan-seared white fish) but will work just as well with lighter chicken or pork dishes.
