Outside of the town of Canelli in Asti, Piedmont, lies the estate of Ignazio and Giuliana Giovine known as l’Armangia. This area has become famous for the quality of their Barbera d’ Asti and Moscato d’ Asti. The Giovine family use natrual fertilizers and allows the grass to grow between vineyard rows, keeping things as natural as possible. They farm organically but are not certified. All fruit is estate grown and hand harvested.

The l'Armangia Moscato d'Asti is made from the "white muscat of Canelli", which has been used to make wine since the time of the Romans. The Moscato grapes are gently pressed and fermented with native yeasts until transferred to a pressure tank for 30 days. The Canelli Moscato d'Asti is extremely aromatic with intense floral, orange blossom and pineapple fruit flavors. Low in alcohol with a spritzy effervescence the wine is sweet but still refreshing and vibrant. Enjoy with a wide array of brunch foods from soft cheeses to mixed fruits to assorted cold cuts.
