Ziaboga - "Askizu Mendia" Txakoli 2024

Light bright color. Aromas of salted lime, sea spray, aloe and pure agave. Super ripe almost candied granny smith apple. Grassy and mineral with a naturally occurring CO2. The wine is fresh and crisp. Very persistence in the palate with great acidity and it maintains the unique "spritz" of Txakolina which makes Ziaboga typify the txakoli of the Getariako appellation. Pairs well with mostly seafood, especially anchovies and sardines, oysters, deep-fried bites as fried squid or calamari, seafood salads, and most Japanese food like sushi and sashimi.
