For more than 19 generations, Società Agricola Cordero di Montezemolo has grown vines on the historic Monfalletto estate in the heart of La Morra, making it one of Barolo's oldest family-owned wineries. The estate farms approximately 51 hectares of organically certified vineyards, including prized parcels in Monfalletto, Gattera, Enrico VI and Villero, where the varied exposures and calcareous marl soils produce Nebbiolo of remarkable finesse and longevity. Alongside Nebbiolo, the family cultivates Barbera, Dolcetto, Arneis, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, balancing deep respect for Piedmontese tradition with thoughtful innovation. Each vineyard parcel is harvested and vinified separately before careful blending, allowing every wine to reflect both its individual site and the unmistakable elegance that has defined the estate for centuries.

The flagship wine of the estate, the 2021 Monfalletto is an elegant expression of La Morra, blending fruit from the family's finest estate vineyards into a Barolo of exceptional harmony and precision. Fragrant aromas of rose petals, violets and wild herbs unfold alongside vibrant notes of red cherry, cranberry and blood orange, accented by hints of licorice, baking spice and crushed stone. The palate is beautifully balanced, combining silky texture with finely woven tannins and bright acidity that carry layers of red fruit, savory earth and subtle mineral nuance.
