Quinta de Ventozelo - Touriga Nacional 2019

Quinta de Ventozelo is one of the oldest quintas in the Douro region, as well as one of the biggest and best located. Until the property was bought by Proinsa, it was producing Port wine in bulk for big shippers from Vila Nova de Gaia. In the past, many of the international award-winning Port wines had been made from grapes grown at Quinta de Ventozelo. In addition to their Port wines, the Quinta also makes wonderful Douro table wines from the local grapes.

Crafted form 100% Touriga Nacional from the 4.5-hectare Vinha do Colmeal vineyard. Deep purple color with aromas of ripe black cherry and plum with a lovely violet floral undertone and a rocky mineral note. The palate is rich and full bodied with an alluring freshness to complement the mouthcoating tannins. Enjoy with cheeses, spicy dishes and game.
