Paulo Laureano - Vale da Torre Tinto 375 mL 2020

Since the 1990's, Paulo Laureano has been recognized as one of the top winemaking consultants in Alentejo. As one of the most sought after winemakers in the region, he has worked with over thirty producers to craft many of the Alentejo's most famous wines. For his own personal project, he makes wines from the unique, local varieties of Portugal.

This is a delicious blend of 40% each Trincadeira and Aragonez, with 20% Alfrocheiro. Hints of cigar tobacco and soft leather on the nose; dark black fruits fill the mouth and glide over the palate with a good bit of spice on the finish. Pair with spicy, cured meats and hard cheeses.
