This 2024 Cabernet comes from a tiny site on Oakville’s eastern benchlands, just south of the famed To Kalon Vineyard. Cabernet here roots into gravelly alluvial soils that drain fast and stress vines perfectly for concentration and balance. Days get warm enough to ripen tannins to silk, while cool evening breezes drifting through the valley preserve freshness and aromatic lift. The growing season stacked the deck: generous winter rain fed vigorous growth, a mild summer allowed slow flavor accumulation, and a crisp September finish locked in focus and structure.

Small-lot winemaking keeps the fruit’s purity intact. Hand-sorted, cold-soaked fruit was fermented in open-top tanks for fine-textured extraction and aged in French barrels for twenty months. The result is classical Oakville Cabernet; polished, expansive, and vividly expressive.
