Description

Domaine Vincent Bachelet consists of 17 hectares of vineyards in ten different appellations in the Côte de Beaune and Gevrey-Chambertin. A native of Dezize-lès-Maranges, Vincent is a fourth-generation winegrower. His traditional practices and expertise were acquired while working alongside his two brothers, Jean-François and Jean-Louis, for their father Bernard at Domaine Bernard Bachelet. The three brothers ran the family estate until the mid-2000's, when they divided the estate's 100 hectares between them. Vincent is now passing on his knowledge and techniques to his children, Aurore and Étienne. They help him run his estate, which was established in 2007 in Chassagne-Montrachet at a former wine storehouse. Vincent has been restoring the property for the past eight years, including the 18th century wine cave and cellars. Vincent's dedication to history and tradition, as well as his natural farming practices, shine through in his wines. They are true farmer's wines, exhibiting unbelievable purity and authenticity.

Vincent Bachelet's Côte de Beaune-Villages Rouge is a 100% Pinot Noir from Burgundy. The wine displays a light, transparent ruby color in the glass. On the nose, intense aromatics of fresh red fruit, tea leaf and bergamot leap out of the glass. The Côte de Beaune-Villages displays lots of energy on the palate. Medium in body, there are strong red cherry fruit flavors mixed with a touch of earth and spice. A dried floral note lingers on a subtle and long finish. Enjoy with duck confit or baked ham.
