Domaine de Vavril is located in Beaujolais, on an historic property that dates back to the Middle Ages. The estate has 10.5 hecatres of vineyards in Beaujolais-Villages, Régnié, Côte de Brouilly and Morgon, making wine primarily from Gamay but also Chardonnay. All fruit is hand-harvested and fermented in the traditional manner, producing bright, fruity wines that are as charming as they are accessible.
The Cuvée de Chatenay is made from 100% Gamay grown in the Beaujolais Cru of Chiroubles. Ruby red color with enticing floral aromas and flavors of violets and peonies alongside pomegranate and cherry notes. Soft, tender mouthfeel with a bouyant acidity and long, vibrant finish. Enjoy with a plate of assorted cheeses and cured meats.
