Domaine Gouron - "La Croix de Bois" Chinon Rouge 2023

Made from 35-50 year old Cabernet Franc vines planted 90% to sand and gravel and 10% to flint and gravel. Fruit is fully de-stemmed and undergoes native yeast fermentation in stainless steel. Inky red in the glass with aromas of fresh wild berries and eucalyptus. Spicy mulled anise and blackberry notes set on a medium-bodied frame.
