Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine Père et Fils — one of our flagship Burgundy producers — was established in 1879; five generations later, it is managed by Christine Gruère-Dubreuil, and her husband, Nicolas Gruère, along with their daughter, Clementine, who has officially joined her mother in the vineyards and cellar. Superb winemaking tradition and an intense love of their land has enabled the estate to rise to epic status, using the family motto, “Pleasure and passion carry on…” as a guideline for success. This family has spent nearly a century and a half chasing perfection, and that fact is beautifully evident in each new vintage from this unforgettable estate.

A beautifully expressive nose opens with fresh citrus blossom, Meyer lemon and crisp orchard fruits layered over delicate notes of toasted almond, walnut and a whisper of vanilla. The palate is both vibrant and textural, where pure apple and pear fruit intertwine with a striking flinty minerality that is unmistakably Burgundian. A silky, lemon curd-like richness glides across the palate, balanced by subtle hazelnut nuances and a lively spine of acidity that carries effortlessly into a long, savory, mineral-driven finish.
