Although the domaine has deep roots in Flagey-Échezeaux, it was Thomas Colladot who has transformed Domaine Coquard Loison-Fleurot into one of the most exciting estates across the Côte de Nuits since joining the domaine in the early 2010s. Thomas is a bit of a paradox; while his sensational wines are on the cusp of world renown, he rarely ventures from his home village. He is humble, discreet and focused... His approach is precise, patient and deeply terroir-driven — favoring gentle extraction, impeccable fruit selection and élevage that enhances purity rather than embellishment. His results showcase a style that is defined by silken texture, luminous fruit and a sense of place that is both unmistakable and profound. Thomas Colladot’s wines capture all of this with exceptional clarity. They exhibit Thomas’ strengths: vibrant fruit, fine tannins, volume and depth and a beautiful, natural balance that promises both early charm and long-term aging potential.

This is one of the most elegant expressions the domaine has crafted to date. CLF’s Vosne-Romanée opens with lifted aromatics — violet, wild strawberry, subtle spice — before unfolding into a palate that is pure Vosne: supple, refined and quietly powerful. Thomas’ touch is evident in the seamless tannic structure and the precision of the finish. This is an outstanding representation of its origin and of the vintage. A masterful wine that will drink beautifully over the next 10–15 years.
