Domaine Bott Frères - Pinot Gris Tradition 2022

Domaine Bott Frères is located in the village of Ribeauvillé, in the heart of Alsace. Since 1835, some of the oldest wine know-how has been transmitted from generation to generation; father to son. The Bott family does not manufacture wine, it cultivates it. On the estate's vineyards, seven varieties are grown and produced in a wide array of soils and the subsequent wines made in a range of styles. The grape harvest is undertaken manually and the output is monitored in order to produce high quality wines. Aging takes place in century old oak casks. The results are some of the most food friendly and distinctive wines from Alsace. The estate has been certified organic since the 2022 vintage.

The Pinot Gris Tradition is a rich, textured wine that effortlessly showcases the fruit intensity and depth of the Alsace style. There is a weight to the wine on the palate that allows it to be paired with full flavored dishes, but there remains enough freshness to also pair it with lighter offerings. Flavors of ripe stone fruits, flower blossoms and a smokey minerality envelop the richly textured and vibrant palate. Enjoy with spicy food, rich fish (raw or cooked) dishes, liver or white meats.
