Domaine Bott Frères - Crémant d'Alsace Blanc de Noirs 1.5 L

Domaine Bott Frères is located in the village of Ribeauvillé, in the heart of Alsace. Since 1835, some of the oldest wine know-how has been transmitted from generation to generation; father to son. The Bott family does not manufacture wine, it cultivates it. On the estate's vineyards, seven varieties are grown and produced in a wide array of soils and the subsequent wines made in a range of styles. The grape harvest is undertaken manually and the output is monitored in order to produce high quality wines. Aging takes place in century old oak casks. The results are some of the most food friendly and distinctive wines from Alsace. The estate has been certified organic since the 2022 vintage.

The Blanc de Noirs is made from 100% Pinot Noir. The wine pours a light gold in the glass with copper highlights and a fine, persistent bead of tiny bubbles. Aromas of toast, tart red berries and chalky minerality waft from the glass. On the palate, this is a sparkler that refreshes. The acidity is bright and vibrant, the bubbles tiny and tactile. The midpalate is awash with red berry fruits that flow effortlessly into a crisp, mineral finish. The body is perfectly balanced with the acidity, giving the wine an ease of drinkability that is perfect for any reason to drink bubbly: as an apéritif, with appetizers or light main courses, and, of course, to pop and party!
