Château Giscours - La Sirène de Giscours 2009

Château Giscours is ranked as a Troisième Cru, or 3rd Growth, in the 1855 Classification of Bordeaux. The château has a 600 year history going back to when it was a defensive tower overlooking what was once the marshlands of the Médoc, however it wasn't until the 16th century when its history as a wine producer began. The estate is known for producing wines of elegance and class, often being described as an "intellectual" wine by some connoisseurs.

Château Giscours' wines epitomize the classic Margaux style: balance, elegance, perfume, and class. They exude beautiful ripe black fruits with the perfect marriage of new oak flavors.
