Château d'Haurets - Bordeaux Rouge 2022

Château d'Haurets has been a farm and vineyard since the mid-1800's. Purchasaed by Henri and Simone Ducourt in 1983, the estate, located in Entre-Deux-Mers, consists of 29.5 hectares of vineyards planted with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc with small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Muscadelle, and Sémillon.

The Château d'Haurets Bordeaux Rouge is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grown in clay-limestone soils, fermented in stainless steel and aged in a mix of oak barrels and steel tanks. Deep ruby color with purple highlights. The nose emits aromas of ripe red fruits with a touch of vanilla and spice. The palate is fruit-forward and generous with smooth tannins and a long finish. Enjoy with a ham sandwich.
