Château d'Arche - Soleil d'Arche Sauternes 375 mL 2019

Château d'Arche is a Classified Growth in Sauternes with a history dating back to the eighth century when it was the property of French nobility. Today, the estate is farmed along environmentally friendly practices, have received Level 3 Certification in the French Government's HVE (High Environmental Value) program. 90% of the estates 30 hectares of vineyards are planted to Sémillon, with the rest of mix of Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris and Muscadelle.

Soleil d'Arche shows a deep gold color in the glass with aromas of apricot, peaches, botrytis and vanilla. The palate is soft and smooth with lovely concentration of ripe fruit flavors and a subtle acidity that allows the flavors to flow gently across the palate into a finish dominated by honey and rocks. A lovely Sauternes to enjoy after a meal with a dessert of lemon pudding cake.
