Casa Vinicola Francesco Vezzelli - "Rive di Ciliegie" Lambrusco

Founded by Francesco Vezzelli in 1958, the Vezzelli estate was one of the first indepenent wineries in the co-op dominated Lambrusco. Francesco’s son, Roberto Vezzelli, continues the work begun by his father, farming 16 hectares of vines on the mid-slope of the hills outside of Modena.

This Lambrusco from Francesco Vizzelli is a dry, serious sparkling red wine made in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, from 100% Lambrusco grapes. This is a frothy, bright and energetic sparkler, perfect to drink chilled and enjoy as a serious accompaniment to a wide range of foods. Bright cherry flavors are framed by supple tannins and a brisk acidity. Perfect with salami, grilled meats and rich pasta dishes.
