Brooks Wine was established in 1998 by visionary Portland native Jimi Brooks. It now stands as the living legacy of Jimi who passed away unexpectedly in 2004. His sister Janie, along with many friends and fellow Willamette winemakers, helped complete that 2004 vintage and keep the estate afloat. Today, Janie and her women-led team carry on Jimi’s passion for biodynamic farming and are committed to the principles of dedication, innovation and community. The estate crafts sparkling and whites from Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Muscat; reds from Pinot Noir, Gamay, Syrah and Tempranillo.

Brooks’ Eola-Amity Hill Pinot Noir pours a brilliant ruby red offering a mouthwatering bouquet of red berry fruits mixed with a touch of crème de violette and warm baking spice. The palate is wonderfully concentrated and filled with flavors of ripe strawberries, muddled raspberries and spiced pomegranate. These fruits are supported by suave tannins and an uplifting acidity that ferries this Pinot to a delightfully satisfying finish. Pair with crabmeat-stuffed mushrooms, pan-seared octopus with potatoes and chorizo or grilled veal chops.
