Bodegas Lezaun - Tinto 2025

Located in the northern Navarran sub-region of Tierra de Estella, Bodegas Lezaun is an old family estate dating back to 1780. At just 19 hectares of organic vineyards, this is a relatively small property compared to most estates in Navarra, but owner and winemaker Raúl Lezaun prefers making smaller batches of great wine than sending his surplus to the numerous co-ops in the region. Harvest and destemming are conducted manually, indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and minimal intervention is used in the cellar. All wines are lightly fined and unfiltered.

Bodegas Lezaun’s Tinto is a beautiful blend of Garnacha and Tempranillo fermented in stainless steel and bottled young to be enjoyed immediately. This tinto displays a vivid garnet color and emits aromas of spiced red fruits. The palate is medium-bodied offering rustic and spicy flavors of red berry fruit that flow all the way to its surprisingly complex finish. Enjoy with anything off the grill: burger, kebabs or steaks, whatever you choose will be a perfect match.
