| Bodegas Nodus Located in Valencia, Bodegas Nodus is an organic estate that produces a range of delicious wines from their 200 hectares of vines in the Utiel-Requena D.O. Founded in 1985 by Adolfo de las Heras Marín, the estate focuses on the local Bobal grape and other Spanish varietals like Garnacha, Tempranillo and Macabeo, along with international grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay. This mix of innovation and tradition has helped Nodus become one of the most prestigious estates in the region. Today, Adolfo's son, Adolfo de las Heras Polo, runs the estate, continuing the commitment to organic viticulture and producing high-quality wines throughout Nodus' entire range. |
Chavalote Nodus' Chavalote is a blend of Tempranillo from sandy soils and Garnacha from clay soils, fermented in stainless steel and aged in French oak barrels for three months. Light ruby in color with garnet highlights, this wine emits lovely aromas of blackberries, strawberries and raspberries with subtle notes of spice and vanilla. On the palate, the Tempranillo gives the wine freshness and energy, while the Garnacha provides the wine's dark fruit flavors along with depth and weight to this incredibly vibrant, easy drinking red. Enjoy with paella, simple meat dishes or fatty fish. |
