Perched above the Adige valley plain close to the border with Trentino, La Prebenda is a small winery that grows only local grapes. Farmed by Paolo Zanoni and managed by his sister Rita, this winery specializes in Pinot Grigio and Enantio. For now we’ve taken their Pinot Grigio because it’s one of those rarities, a Pinot Grigio in purezza – that is, 100% PG and not cut with Trebbiano or other bulk grapes. The difference is palpable: clean, light, fresh without an aftertaste of either excessive sugar or the slight bitterness that can result from incomplete destemming. Clean and refreshing with delicious white fruit on the nose and palate, hints of gooseberry and a little apple. Delicate floral nose with fresh flavors of gooseberries and a hint of peaches. Pairs well with prosciutto, asparagus, fish and summer salads or perfect for cocktail parties and poolside festivities! Related Products |
