The estate of Emrich-Schonleber is small, encompassing only 14 hectare in the region of Nahe. These naturally tended vines are on steep slopes; its soil comprised ofDevonslate, facing south and southwest. All fruit at Emrich-Schonleber is allowed long hang time to fully develop the brilliant minerality and intense fruitiness of these classically styled Nahe wines. The Monzinger Fruhlingsplatzchen Riesling Kabinett is a clear and expressive wine, redolent of lemon, pear and stony minerals. Ripe, rich, sweet fruit balanced by excellent acidity and minerality creates a wine that is bright on the palate yet has a viscous mouthfeel. Pair with roasted poultry, shellfish and sausages. |
