A beautiful youthful ruby red core with dark red shades, the Chateau Peyredon is full and expressive on the nose. Aromatically the nose is complex in its stages. Initially composed of dark red and black fruits, hints of cassis, fruit leather, opening with dried flowers, cedar, and sweet cigar smoke. The palate is full bodied, lightly toasted, round and richly coating the spectrum. The tannins are elegant and there is a good length to the finish. |
